CD Release Party with Frances Ancheta on August 24th

Chris will be joining Frances Ancheta on Sunday, August 24th at the Green Earth Cafe in San Francisco for a joint CD release party.  Come hear songs from Frances new CD as well as Chris' newest release, Stories From the Abyss from 2-5pm.

Chris Clavey will be performing with Frances Ancheta, a wonderful Bay Area singer and songwriter, at The Brainwash in San Francisco on Sunday, June 8th from 7-9pm. The Brainwash is the only bar / restaurant / laundromat in the Bay Area.  If you haven't been you need to check it out! 

Chris Clavey at Panama Red Coffee Company on June 14th

Chris will be performing for the first time at The Panama Red Coffee Company in Livermore on Saturday June 14th from 8-10pm.  The Panama Red Coffee Company is a popular destination for music in downtown Livermore and hosts musicians from around the Bay Area seven days a week. 

The Brainwash

Chris has cancelled his performance at The Brainwash in San Francisco on April 20th starting at 8pm due to a cold. 

Just Plain Folks Music Awards

Chris Clavey's album "Stories From the Abyss" is being considered for the 2008 Just Plain Folks music awards.

Just Plain Folks represents a large community of independent artists of all genres, and they've created the largest music awards program in the world by bringing positive attention to some of the best music made by known and unknown musicians alike.  

March Performances and MySpace

On Saturday March 1st Chris will be performing at Worthington Gallery West in downtown Pleasanton for "Words and Music".  Local musicians and poets will perform in order to continue fundraising for the Pleasanton Firehouse Arts Center.

On Saturday March 15th Chris will be performing with R&B singer and American Idol contestant Jumoke Hill at the Nomad Cafe in Oakland starting at 7:30pm.

iTunes and February Shows

Chris Clavey's newest CD, "Stories From the Abyss." is now available on iTunes!  Buy your favorite song for $.99 or the entire album for $8.91.

Chris will be performing at the opening of the "Oh Pleasanton" exhibit at Worthington Gallery West in downtown Pleasanton on February 7th, from 6-8pm.  The exhibit includes both local visual and musical artists helping to begin fundraising and public awareness for the Pleasanton Firehouse Arts Center. Chris' CD will also be on display for the remainder of the exhibit.

On February 10th, Chris will be participating in the Songwriter's Cafe at Red House Live in Walnut Creek starting at 7pm.  Chris will be one of the featured songwriters at this extremely popular venue in the Diablo Valley.  There is a $7 cover charge at the door.
