It all changed for Chris the moment
he heard The Beatles Sergeant
Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in his parents living room.
From that moment on as a child he knew he wanted to create songs
that could stretch people's imaginations in the same way the Beatles
were able to with their intricate melodies and mind altering lyrics.
In much the same way Chris makes it his mission to share his most
personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences in his music. To not
risk and share what lies underneath would be a dumbing down of his
work to himself and his audience.
Chris has an eclectic style which merges folk, rock, blues, and jazz
into a powerful and soulful sound. As a songwriter Chris is able to
infuse wit and humor into his lyrics. At the same time he is also
capable of writing complex songs which are deeply personal but
universal to his audience.
Chris has been touring aggressively around the Bay Area at
coffeehouses, bars, and even private parties. His stage presence is
like having a conversation with a good friend. Chris shares his
inspirations for his songs with his audience cracking jokes along
the way but ultimately leaves it up to the listener to take away
from his music what they need.
